Unicorns on My Finger Nails

My love for this color scheme is unreal. I saw a little nail video tutorial on Instagram of a similar color scheme and I flipped my lid. This isn't the first time I've done this particular nail color, but last time it chipped majorly before I snapped a pic. I would wear this all the time if it wasn't such a hard color to obtain. Well, not necessarily hard, but just time consuming.
     In order to obtain this color, I used those lil sponges and dabbed the colors onto my nails. I had a base coat of pinkish white underneath the colors. After finishing, I put quite a few clear coats to ensure my color lasted a while!
      I messed up on one of my pointer fingers, so I put a bunch of glitter on top to cover up the mistake. I liked the way it looked so I put glitter on my other pointer finger, too. The amount of glitter I put on to cover up chips real easy because the layer is so thick, so that's a con. But, I really like how they turned out this time.

     The beauty of it though is that these colors make me think of unicorns, and I absolutely love that. Just the way the gradient is sings "unicorns!!!" to me. And it's just such a crazy pop of color it makes any outfit adorbs.

     Speaking of lovely unicorn purple, that is the color I will be getting parts of my hair colored! I'm so excited to get it done. Of course, I'm not quite bold enough to go and get my whole head colored. I would love to, but I don't think I would quite pull it off. For myself, I will only be getting the underneath of my hair colored. Whenever I have my hair pulled up or in a braid, the purple will be on full display for all to see. Even when my hair is down like it usually is, the lovely lilac will still be visible and play peek-a-boo. Check back sometime next week to see my new hair do!
