Quite recently, I went and saw the new live-action Cinderella movie in theaters. By far, this is my favorite real-people Disney movie of all time. As a small child and for many years, I was rather obsessive about the Disney princess Cinderella. Most years, I was Cinderella for Halloween. I saw Disney Princesses on Ice many times just because Cinderella would be there. Let's just leave it at I absolutely adore(d) Cinderella.
I found the movie to be an amazing portrayal of my favorite princess. The actors they had for the characters were perfectly chosen. The actress that played Ella (Lily James) was great; she has intense eyebrow like me hehe. Lily played the part beautifuly and I really felt for her character. Helena Bonham Carter, the fair godmother, even said bippity boppity boo! Along with great actors, the way the story was presented was amazing as well. Many people are reviewing this movie as just another Disney 'copy and paste' of the orignal. But, I disagree. Much of the story was done in-depth enough to be able to understand, but not so much that it was an overwhelming amount of details. There was a perfect amount of deep emotion (*SPOILER* her father and mother's death; Prince's father's death) to go with the magic sweetness of the movie. Even with all the negative reviews, Disney's newest live action princess movie was a success in my opinion.
I love the shoes as well; the butterfly on the top is just gorgeous. Ah, just glorious. I would love to wear those on a special occasion, or just for the heck of it.
