Banana and Strawberry Cold Snack-a-Roo

Banana and strawberry ice cream is delicious, and nothing is better than homemade. In this post, I have the recipe for some DIY fresh strawberry and banana ice cream so you can enjoy the yummy-ness as well! Mind you, I did not create this recipe, just slightly alerted it. Here is the link to the original recipe I found via Pinterest.
The recipe I used only makes about two or three servings.

Ingredients:
3 whole bananas (cut into slices)
1 cup of fresh, cut up strawberries
2 1/2 tablespoons of whipping cream
just over 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla

  Directions:
1. Get yo ingredients- cut up the bananas into good-thickness slices and chop up the fresh strawberries so they will blend easily. Put the strawberry chunks into a container to be put in the freezer for 2+ hours. Also put the banana slices onto a platter or plate and place in the freezer the same amount of time; make sure they aren't piled atop each other, have them spread out as much as you can. I meant to put mine in for about 2 hours, but then went out and they stayed in the freezer for about 3 hours. You can have it longer if you want, but 2 hours should be the minimum.

2. Mix it up- take out all of your ingredients and a blender. Toss half the bananas and half the strawberries into the blender and mix 'em. Once those are a good soft-serve consistency, toss in the rest and mix till well done. Add the cream and vanilla. Mix that till smooth.

3. Transfer all of it to a container into the freezer and let sit until no longer liquidy.

With the some of the whipping cream, I also made some whipped cream to go along with this yummy snack. In another post, I have the short recipe I used for making that, the link is here.
I didn't snap a good pic of the finished product, but it really looks just like normal ice cream, or it should.
