Wow, it's been awhile. Sorry, life happens.
Well, here today we have these beauties: Welcome to the Black Parade and Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, both by the late My Chemical Romance. Both have amazing album art (I personally like Black Parade best) and amazing music to go along (I probably listen to Three Cheers more).
My Chemical Romance is definitely emo. But not in a bad way. In fact, it's a nice emo. They aren't low-key emo, but aren't overly intense. More like the perfect amount of emo. Like when your eyeliner is perfectly smudged. Beautiful.
Here are my fav songs from these albums, and I'll even go ahead and include a direct link to the music video, just to help you out a bit.
Black Parade:
- Cancer~ on a scale of 1-10, I'd say this is a 12 on the emo scale; so beautiful
- Disenchanted~ I can almost play the intro tabs! I really like this song tho, give it a listen
- I Don't Love You~ singing this song is literally the best
Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge
- Helena (So Long & Goodnight)~ the sound is amazing, and I feel like this song holds a strong meaning
- I'm Not Okay (I Promise)~ another great song to scream/sing along to; the song of my people
