FIRST OF ALL, before I get to the subject of this post: I GOT THE FOUR BOOK!!! Yes, it is true, the Divergent series (at least part of it) from Tobias' point of view is in print! I mean, I know it has been for a couple months or something, but I just got it! I started reading it in the store, actually. I was sooo excited to get this book, a lot of Four's background wasn't really touched up, like a bit about his mom was never quite cleared up. Or how his initiation went. But, with this book, I will learn more and be able to understand the Divergent series better. Gah, sorry, I just really needed to share the fact that I GOT THIS BOOK! And, not only is it in print, it is a hard cover! And, the cover art is the Ferris Wheel!!! Ohmygussshhh!! *super fast typing fingers slow down, excitement fades* Okay, now I will go on to blog about the point of this post: prosper
A promising first year in High school. A club fair on a breezy, warm day. The perfect scenario. All turned around, because of one thing... NO BOOK CLUB

What is life?! How can one live without being able to fangirl or complain about a book in a confidential setting (in real life, not tumblr people)?? I just don't understand. Me and my friends were so looking forward to a year filled with after school meetings in the library to talk about our past time: reading. We were so devastated to find that there was not a book club table set up along with the rest of the clubs. There was an ANIME CLUB for Pete's sake! I- I just don't understand. What do saddened book nerds do? Well, we stuff our faces with German Club's bratwursts until we thought of a solution.
After chowing down, we made our way to the library. Our plan: talk to the librarian about forming our very own book club. Unexpectedly, our plan worked. The librarian was happy that there are still kiddos that enjoy reading enough to make a club for it. She said that past book clubs haven't worked out as well. I know that this year will be different. Even if all the other losers don't show up to all the meetings, all four of my book-nerd friends and I definitely will. We will probably run the whole thing... I wish *single tear rolls down cheek* After talking to the librarian, we had a renewed belief that this year won't be such a waste. I'm uber excited to indulge in leisure hours debating over whether or not that character was worthy to die. It'll be enlightening :)
High school life will now be complete. Ah, I'm glad I can talk to you guys about this. It'll be twice as fun talking about books to real live people! I usually don't like people, but those who have the same interest in books as me are quite tolerable. Maybe I'll even make new friends... nah, peepoles usually don't like me anyways ;P I really am excited to join Book Club though. It'll be a great way to spend my Wednesday afternoons. What's awesome is I have band practice Tuesday and Thursday, and Wednesday was left open, just for Book Club!! Quite convenient.
Do any of you guys find Book Club (or any such club) enjoyable? Even the slightest bit? In eighth grade, we had the best book club evah. The librarian was awesome. The people (for the most part) were awesome. The time of day was awesome. The books, eh, not so much. Well, we kinda talked about plenty of books, not really the ones that we were supposed to read. Anyway, Book Club is awesome and everyone should join it. Or, possibly, make it in your school. Books can have a positive affect on your life. I don't know what that effect might be, but I'm sure there is one.
